Read on for incredible information on nasty Neanderthals, awesome archaeologists and curious cave paintings. Find out about the truth of Stonehenge and what suffering scientists do with Stone Age poo.
I only read this one because it was in a boxset but the history was more exciting than I expected. It’s not my favourite era of history maybe because we know so little about it definitively. It was a well written book, about the little that is known about this era. The way they got food the games they played their beliefs were really interesting. It made me think of them as real people rather than Neanderthals.
I am looking forward to the next books.

Eeeeep!! I LOVE Horrible Histories! I have the boxset of 20 books, an annual and a bunch of others too. And I love the TV series (it’s brilliant). Have you seen it? I must agree, the Stone Age isn’t exactly my favourite era either.
No I only have the boxset of 20 books, but seen the T.V. show didn’t know there was one. š I am looking forward to the tudors ones, I love that part of history. I am readin about the eygptions just now, it’s a bit better than the stone age š Glad you like it, do you read historical fiction?
I LOVE historical fiction š Particularly set in Venice during the 1700’s during Carnevale. I would love to read some Tudor YA fiction though, but I can’t recall ever coming across any. What about you?
I love historical fiction too. I have read quite a few about the tudors. Witchstruck by Victoria Lamb is young adult, it’s really quite good. I have been to trying to branch out and read about other times not just the tudors, I quite like reading about the plague. Any good hitorical books? I am open to suggestions š
