I am the perfect weapon.
I kill with a single touch.
Twylla is blessed. The Gods have chosen her to marry a prince, and rule the kingdom. But the favour of the Gods has it’s price. A deadly poison infuses her skin. Those who anger the queen must die under Twylla’s fatal touch.
Only Lief, an outspoken new guard, can see past Twylla’s chilling role to the girls she truly is.
Yet in a court as dangerous and the queen’s, some truths should not be told…
I love the cover to this book, it’s not just pretty it is enticing. It’s the covers fault I bought the book. But it was a good book so I cannot complain. I loved the start, the idea of the sin eater was brilliant, as was the goddess personified, both together made for excellent reading. I loved hearing about the religion and histories.
The story was exciting and full of twists and turns. I liked the characters and the dynamics between them, it progressed nicely. I did not see the end coming at all. It made sense and was very interesting. I am very much looking forward to the next one in the series.
