When Spook arrived, the light was already beginning to fail.
It doesn’t give much away, but it’s the tone as a little creepy. Since death is one of the characters (I think( makes sense). I have not yet read this book but I am looking forward to it. Have you read this book, do you think the first line sets the tone well?
