Ashlyn is about to discover what she’d thought to be true her whole life, wasn’t, and the truth, too fantastical to imagine. Secrets lurk beneath the deep blue waters of Lake Tahoe, secrets that will change Ashlyn’s life forever.
This was an interesting book. I loved the setting and the two different POV’s. Fin and Ash were great main characters. Although I would have preferred there wasn’t so many love interests. I almost put it down because I felt like some of the story was unnecessary.
It was a nice easy fun read, that was had a very teen feeling and some adults will probably struggle reading this even if they read YA.
I want to know more about the mer-world. The dynamics intrigued me and I want to know more. I am looking forward to next one, although I have heard bad things.
