As I was reading the words I felt it happen to me. I felt his hand in my hand, the waves at my feet, the sun on my face. I could feel everything. I breathed in sharply as I read on. I felt my heart break as he broke up with her, me. He told me that he did not love me and was leaving me for another. I dropped to my knees, the waves splashing at me, trying to take me out to sea. I would let them, let them take me far from him.When the waves became icy and I no longer had the strength to stay above water, I bowed to the sea’s will and let it drag me to it’s unknown depths.
I found myself gasping for breath on the forest floor, I was safe. My this author could suck you in.
